Each November (around the 15th) the Coast Guard light-up Pigeon Point's massive first-order Fresnel.

I also heard that there were full-moon tours at Pt. Arena (Calif)

There's something called "Full-Moon Saturdays" during which time the Fresnel Lens is lit!!!

I also heard that they have an annual Open House (2nd week of August), and offer night tours then, too.
